Silverborn : Adharc Priestess

yay my first attempt at painting without adding in those darn black lines x3 I actually really like how it turned out ^^ especially the hair :3

I know, people are going to look at this and go "OMG DRAENEI!" but, it's not a draenei x3 It's an adharc ^^ a creature of my own creation for my machinima series/completely original fantasy world/current self created obsession The Silverborn. They look like draenei, but they kinda have to in order for people to make the connection easier between the art form of them and the machinima form.

While the draenei are an obvious inspiration for their look, they are also kind of my interpretation of how I think gargoyles would look, well the more humanoid ones anyways.

The story behind this character is kinda strange. I went into this drawing wanting to draw a female adharc, but the face came out rather masculine compared to my other sketches of them, so, it went from female to androgenous/hermaphroditic, and a whole order of priests/priestesses to a god/dess of knowledge was born as well.

I wouldn't ask too many questions if I were you, but all comments and critiques are welcome ^^ especially since I'm new to this style of painting x3
